The Palliatives is aimed At Curbing Poverty And Hardship In Kaduana State… Says MD KADEDA

Kaduna State government has set aside N11. 4bn in the secónd batch of its Palliative Programme.
Governor Senator Uba Sani announced this at the formal Flag-Off Distribution of Palliative Second Batch in Kaduna.
The programme themed “Sustainable Livelihood through Social Interventions and Economic Empowerment” is targeted at a boosting small scale businesses and people’s empowerment.
Governor Sani who expressed worry on the current hardship and high cost of living among the people of the state, said about seven thousand five hundred people are expected to benefit from the palliative.
According to him some people are expected to benefit from five thousand naira support, while others would be given one million naira, depending on the type of their businesses.
The governor assured of his administration’s commitment to continue to effectively implement policies and programmes that would provide succour to citizens of Kaduna State
In his remark the Managing Director Kaduna State Enterprises Development Agency KADEDA, Alhaji Dauda Iliya Abba noted that distribution of the palliative by Governor Uba Sani was directly aimed at curbing poverty and hardship in Kaduana State.
He added that the scheme would equally assist small and medium scale business operators as well as farmers in the state.
