The  Chairmanship Aspirant  Of People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) Kaduna state Chapter, Mr.  Edward John Auta Pama, has visited former PDP  National Chairman and former Kaduna state governnor, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, solicited for his support towards his aspiration to become the state party Chairman.

In a statement issued to journalists, Mr. Edward Pama, assured him to work with him and other leaders of the party in ensuring that the PDP consolidates its strong hold of the state in all future elections in the state, when given the opportunity to serve

According to him “Earlier today, I met with the leader of our great party, the PDP, His Excellency, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi at his residence”

“I used the opportunity to recommit myself to his able leadership and guidance and to intimate him of my intention to run for the office of the Chairman, PDP Kaduna State Chapter”

Mr. Auta, reminded the Ex- Governor of the enduring legacies of unity, peace, and equitable development, which he left behind after his 8-year reign as governor of Kaduna State and which have also inspired subsequent PDP administrations to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

” I’m extremely grateful for the warm reception and his wise counsel. I assured him of my commitment to any and all initiatives that will deliver transparent, free, and fair congresses and to put the unity and progress of our party above anything else at all times”

“May God continue to bless, preserve, protect,  and use our leader, Sen. Makarfi for the peace, unity, and progress of our party, Kaduna State, and Nigeria at large” he concluded.
