The Executive Chairman Singer Market Development Association ( SIMDA) Kano state Alhaji Junaidu Mohammed Zakari (Esq)  has been conferred with the excellent leadership award as an “Icon Of Nation Building” 

The award was presented to the chairman in his office in Kano state by Northern Tourism Journalists ( NYJ) based on his outstanding role and contributions toward National Development.

According to the Secretary general of the Forum Shehu Yahaya, said the award  was recognised on account of chairman’s exemplary performance and sefless service to humanity in Singer Market and Kano state in general.

He therefore,  commended Alhaji Junaidu Mohammed Zakari,  for his courages as  regards on  ensuring adequate security without any fear or favour  in Singer Market, saying this is the highest level of patriotism and uprightness.

The SIMDA  Chairman, who was represented by  the association public relation officer Amb. Abubakar Usman  Aliyu , thanked the Forum for recognizing the commitment and contributions by the  Chairman towards development of Singer Market.

According to him the Chairman has achieved a lots within a one year and half in the office  as the executive Chairman of Singer Market Development Association especially in the area of providing adequate security and unity of members in amongst othes  which commendable.
