The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria IPMAN has expressed appreciation for the return and resuscitation of the Warri Refinery.
The National President of IPMAN, Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi Shettima Garima made the assertion in a media chat.
He described the move as a welcome development towards enhanced socioeconomic development and performance of Nigeria’s oil sector.
The IPMAN President who identified the resuscitation of PortHacourt and Warri Refineries as well tought idea, noted that it would further restored the confidence of Nigerians towards bringing back the lost glory of the oil industry.
Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi explained that with the coming back on board, the Independent Petroleum Marketers are happy and ready to start loading Petroleum products
IPMAN President who expressed satisfaction with the existing relationship between the Dangote Refinery and the association, urged their members to ensure proper registration with the giant indigenous petroleum company for adequate products supply.
He contended that Dangote Refinery and MRS are strong partners who are supporting the IPMAN marketers in the country.
Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi Shettima Garima maintained that with the current arrangement between the due of Dangote Refinery and MRS people in the country would enjoy stable, hitch free supply, distribution of the products, and at reduced cost.
He expressed optimism that with the springing up of new refineries in Nigeria the citizens would experience changes and lower rate in the prices of petroleum products.
On the removal of fuel subsidy by the present administration, the IPMAN National President commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking such a bold step towards improving the oil sector.
He advised the President to focus attention towards ensuring that the existing refineries and Depots in the country are functioning in full capacity
