Kaduna ADC Reaffirms Legitimate Leadership, Cautions Against Unauthorized Activities

The Kadun State Executive Committee of African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reaffirmed its firm commitment to upholding the party’s constitution and ensuring that all activities are conducted strictly within the framework of the law

The Committee emphasized that every decision and action taken under its leadership aligns with established guidelines, stressing that adherence to due process remains the backbone of the party’s operations.

In a meeting held on December 6, 2025, the Committee reaffirmed the legitimacy of the leadership led by the Acting Chairman, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha.

In a press statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Engr. Musa Idris. Said Henceforth, any Press release or publication done without the authorization of the Party Leadership will be viewed as an affront to the State Executive, the Party, and the ADC Constitution, and stringent legal actions will be taken seriously.”

The Committee emphasized that respect for judicial pronouncements is fundamental to democracy and peace. They urged Members to intensify efforts in building Party structures in Local Governments and Wards across the 23 LGAs and avoid unauthorized actions. 

It was also agreed that any office created in the name of ADC without the official knowledge of the State leadership, will be deemed illegal, and legal actions will be taken. Procedures for donating or transforming offices must be done officially and legally.

The Committee expressed concern over a recent “IMPORTANT NOTICE” issued by Hon. Alex Tagwai, and called on all parties, particularly Elder Patrick D. Ambut, Victor Oluwatuyi, Alex Tagwai, and Ibrahim Musa, to adhere strictly to the directives of both the State Working Committee and the State Executive Committee.

“The State Executive Committee affirms Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha as the duly recognized Acting Chairman of the ADC,” the statement read, emphasizing the need for unity, discipline, and compliance within the party.

The Committee further stressed that respect for judicial pronouncements remains fundamental to democratic governance and peaceful coexistence within the party

Members were urged to intensify efforts toward strengthening party structures across the 23 Local Government Areas and their respective wards, while refraining from any unauthorized activities.

The Committee also cautioned that any office created in the name of the ADC without the official approval of the State leadership will be considered illegal and subject to legal action.
