KYGG Commends Gen. Chris Musa’s Appointment As Defence Minister

The Kaduna Youth For Good Governance KYGG has lauded the recent appointment of General Christopher Musa retired as the Minister of Defence to tackle the incessant insecurity of lives and property that bedevilled the country.

The NGO said, General Musa is the most qualified and competence retired general to defend and protect Nigerians from the menace of banditry, kidnappings in the North west and terrorism of Boko Haram elements in the North East of this country.

In a press release signed by its National Chairman, Comrade Aliyu Modibbo and given to newsmen in Kaduna Wednesday, the Group said, General Musa”a reabsorption into the Tinibu administration is one of the wisest decisions to stem the tide of criminal elements be they Boko Haram, bandits, kidnappers or IPOB outlaws in the South east.

KYGG believes that, in view of his past eulogies and tributes when he left the military as Chief of Defence Staff CDS, the new Defence Minister duesnt have any reason whatsoever to the fail this nation, hence we wish and pray for him to succeed and make history.

The Chairman then urges all stakeholders in the security sector to accord maximum cooperation and support to the New Defence Musa in his onerous task of fighting acts of terrorism across the country particularly the North west and Northeast geopolitical regions.

Similarly, Comrade Modibbo said, their organisation is ready to help the new minister to succeed for the betterment of the citizens against the activities of bandits and kidnappers and their supporters.

In conclusion, we wish the new Defence Minister Chris Musa a resounding congratulation in his new task, and pray for his success and God’s guidance in this gigantic responsibility of getting rid of criminal elements within and outside the country.
