The Kaduna state Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has cautioned the general public, as well, the party members to beware of some elements who have been parading themselves as the leaders of the party in the state.

Reacting to what it’s described as illegal and misleading inauguration, the party explained that no inauguration was carried out by the leadership of ADC in the state, as it was being speculated.

The Kaduna ADC equally said that the former Vice Chairman of the party, Tijani Ahmed who spear-headed the so called inauguration with some other few people have been expelled from the party, following the allegations of extortion, anti-party activities among others, and therefore, the inauguration stands null and void.

This was contained in a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Saturday by the state Publicity Secretary of ADC, Hon. Alex Tagwai.

According to the statement, ” to set the record straight, contrary to their misleading and mischievous speculations, saying that court gave the so called Tijani Ahmed, the right to act on behalf of the party as the Chairman in Kaduna state was a complete lie and misleading.”

In the statement, the party challenged the legitimacy of Tijjani Ahmed, saying that he is neither recognized by the INEC, Zonal Secretariat, nor by the National Secretariat of the party. ” And if so, Tijjani Ahmed should present the legal document that gives him the power to assume the position of Chairman of the party in the state,” Tagwai added.

IMPOSTORS: REJOINDER TO MISLEADING INAUGURATION BY KADUNA STATE ADC

This is to officially debunk any video trading on social media claiming to come from the ADC Kaduna State Chapter.

The ADC Kaduna State Chapter did not hold any stakeholders’ meeting nor inaugurates any body into any office in the Kaduna State chapter.

1) The ADC Kaduna State Chapter, headed by Elder Patrick Didam Ambut, is committed to mobilizing members across the 23 local governments and 255 political wards in Kaduna State, Anyone doing business with any impostor in Kaduna State using the name of our party, the ADC, is doing so at their own risk.

2) This is to officially inform the general public that Tijani Ahmed has been expelled from the party and lacks any locus standi to transact or do anything on behalf of ADC in Kaduna State. It will also be interesting to note that He is not recognized by either INEC or the national body of the party. We urge the general public to avoid doing business with him on behalf of the ADC Kaduna State Chapter.

3) Yes, an Ex- Parte Motion Notice was obtained by these individuals through a back door, restraining the state Chairman of the party, Elder Patrick Ambut from parading himself as the Chairman of the party. Which is temporary. And no portion of the Orders directed Tijani Ahmed to act as Chairman or ask him to carry out any activity on behalf of the party.

4) It is temporary in the sense that, it is used for urgent situations. So, it is not a standard document, but refers to a request made to a court by one party without notifying the other. So, the Ex-Parte Order was obtained by these set of noise makers for temporary relief.

5) Meanwhile, as a law abiding citizen, the order was fully comply with, while it has also been challenged in a lawful way as required under the provision of the law of the land. And this is because, the Ex-Parte Motion obtained by these set of individuals seems strange and questionable.

6) It is on this note that the state Secretariat of the Kaduna ADC is urging members and potential members of the party, as well, as the general public to be wary of the tactics of these individuals and not to fall victim by having any kind of dealings with them in the name of the party in Kaduna state.

7) It is also important to once again inform the general public of the mischievous aim of these individuals, who are only out, as agents of destruction, and being sponsored by the so called enemies of democracy who are out in making Kaduna State and Nigeria at large, ‘A One Party State’.

8) More so, to put the record straight, the National Secretariat of our great party; the ADC is aware of this issue, as resolutions on the matter shall be communicated to the good people of Kaduna state on the ” LEADERSHIP LEGITIMACY.

9) As we await the resolutions of the National Secretariat of the party on the said matter, we urged our members, and potential members, as well, as the general public not to be deceived by theses individuals who already employed the use of propaganda as a means to gain cheap political points

10) We want to urge our party members and coalition partners to stay focused and not to be distracted by any desperate individuals working with the enemies of our great party.
