As part of his ongoing consultations with party executives and key stakeholders across the seven Local Government Areas of Kaduna Central Senatorial District, the 9th Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly and senatorial aspirant, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, FCNA, on Tuesday visited the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Kaduna South Local Government Area.
Zailani, who was accompanied by a delegation of political allies and supporters, was received by party officials and grassroots stakeholders at the Secretariat, where discussions centered on strengthening party unity, mobilization, and preparations ahead of future electoral activities.
Addressing party members during the visit, Zailani emphasized the importance of cohesion within the APC, noting that unity remains the party’s strongest asset in maintaining its dominance in Kaduna State. He reiterated his commitment to inclusive leadership, consultation, and grassroots engagement as part of his political philosophy.
The former Speaker also highlighted his achievements while in office, stating that his leadership in the State Assembly was guided by transparency, accountability, and a people-centered approach. He assured party members that, if given the mandate to represent Kaduna Central at the Senate, he would prioritize policies and initiatives that directly impact the lives of constituents.
Party executives in Kaduna South LGA, in their remarks, commended Zailani for his outreach efforts and consistent engagement with stakeholders. They described his visit as timely and reflective of his dedication to the growth and stability of the APC in the state.
Zailani’s visit to Kaduna South forms part of a broader tour across the senatorial district aimed at consolidating support and fostering stronger ties with party structures at the grassroots level.
