An aspirant for the Zamfara Central Senatorial seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sanusi Ibrahim Garachi, has expressed confidence in his ability to win both the party’s primary election and the general election.

Garachi stated this shortly after he was screened by the APC screening committee in Abuja ahead of the party primaries.

Speaking with journalists after the exercise, the senatorial hopeful said he was fully prepared for the contest and optimistic about securing the mandate of the party and the support of the people of Zamfara Central.

He said if elected into the Senate, he would focus on sponsoring laws and policies that would improve the lives of his constituents and address the security challenges facing the state.

According to him, insecurity remains one of the major problems confronting Zamfara State, and urgent legislative support is needed to strengthen efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability.

Garachi further assured the people of the zone that he would provide quality representation and ensure that the interests of his constituents are adequately protected at the National Assembly.

The APC has continued its screening process for aspirants seeking various elective positions ahead of the forthcoming elections.
