A political support group, The Game Changer Group (TGCG), has commenced grassroots mobilisation across Yobe State in preparation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

The group officially inaugurated its campaign structure during a consultative meeting attended by the State Coordinator, three Zonal Coordinators and Coordinators from the 17 local government areas of the state.

Speaking at the meeting, the National Adviser of the group and Yobe State Leader, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Jawa, said the organisation was established by businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Bolaji Raji, to complement ongoing efforts aimed at taking the achievements and programmes of the APC-led Federal Government directly to the grassroots.

According to him, the group’s primary objective is to mobilise support for President Tinubu through sustained engagement with communities across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Professor Jawa assured the local coordinators that their contributions would be recognised by the group’s national leadership, adding that Yobe State would play a significant role in the overall campaign strategy.

He said the national leadership would work closely with state, zonal and local government coordinators to ensure effective coordination, while maintaining collaboration with the official structures of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The professor charged the coordinators to immediately commence mobilisation from the ward and polling unit levels, describing grassroots engagement as critical to achieving the group’s objectives.

“We will take our mobilisation to every ward and polling unit across the state with the aim of securing overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election,” he said.

The coordinators, in separate remarks, pledged their commitment to the initiative and promised to begin voter sensitisation and mobilisation activities across the 17 local government areas of Yobe State.
