In the midst of celebrations for the Supreme Court Judgement that affirmed Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf as the duly elected Governor of Kano State, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Kabara has Congratulated the Governor over the phyrric victory.

In a congratulatory message signed by the ministry’s Chief Information Officer, Dahiru Lawan Kofar Wambai, and made available to newsmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabara described the victory of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as victory of all  people of Kano State as it will give way to a democratically elected government to settle down and deliver dividends of democracy to its people.

Alhaji Ibrahim Kabara expressed optimism that Governor Abba Kabir’s government will impact positively on the lives of people of the state through initiation and implementation of policies and programmes for the betterment of people of the state especially the downtrodden.

The Permanent Secretary on behalf of the management and staff of the ministry’s headquarters and 44 local governments congratulated the Governor and assured of an unwavering support and cooperation to achieve the set goals.

He used the opportunity to call on the staff of ministry to rededicate themselves and remain committed in the discharge of their official engagements and adhere to stipulated rules and regulations governing their conducts.
