 The renowned financial institution, “MoniePoint” has reiterated its commitment to track Fraud by Using Artificial Intelligence.

Kaduna state Coordinator of the Moniepoint, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa stated this while fielding questions from Journalists at the Kaduna Young Journalists Summit held at Gusau Institute in Kaduna.

“We are  using  Artificial Intelligence to identify potential fraud incidents and trigger alerts for further investigations and remedial actions,” he said

Alhaji  Ibrahim Musa,aslo reaffirmed commitment to continue to uphold financial discipline in it transactions with customers.

According to him they have already engaged in business banking and created avenues for financial discipline in all transactions.

The state Co-odinator also explained that the Monie Point has further embraced Agency system of Banking, Business Account, Personal Account and Consumer Accounts type of Banking, to enhance financial transactions among the people.

Alhaji Ibrahim Musa contended that the Moniepoint has greatly assisted it various agents who are into the business of dispensing money to the members of the public

He added that as part of it empowerment drive the Moniepoint has also contributed immensely in creating job opportunities for teeming in lolemployed Nigerians, especially the youths.

The Monie Point Kaduna State Co-odinator however stressed the need for effective and adequate security to operators of business outfits and financial institutions to safeguard their lives and resources.

He noted that lack of security in financial business premises create serious set back to transactions.

Alhaji Ibrahim pointed out that presently they have embarked on serious enlightenment of the members of the public on various monetary transactions, to make them abreast of the new innovations in the financial world.

The Co-ordinator however commended Kaduna State governor Senator Uba Sani, for his invaluable support and encouragement to financial sectors in the state.

He also said the relationship between the state Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology and Monie Point is cordial and commendable.
