The sitting president of the Association of Senior Staff of Banks, Insurance and Financial Institutions (ASSBIFI), Bank Of  Agriculture Unit ( BOA) an affiliate of the Trade Union Congress, has been re-elected as the President of the Association.

The election took place at the 12th Triennial National Delegates Conference, held At Chimcherry Hotel Kaduna  on Saturday.

Speaking on his last three-year tenure, Mr. Moses Umoru said the journey has been so far so good.

He stated that his administration would be all inclusive, transparent and centered on welfare, rights and privileges of the members.

According to him “I have been able to discharge my duties to the best of my ability, but most importantly, impacting positively on the sector with the hope to remain productive and profitable”

Mr. Moses Umoru who is also the Public Relations Officer of Trade Union Congress Kaduna State, asked the government to reduce the poverty level in the nation.

He  promised to sustain the cordial relationship between ASSBIFI TUC, and other Labour union in Kaduna state.

In his remark the Kaduna State Trade Union Congress ( TUC) Chairman  Comrade Abdullahi Alhassan Danfulani, has congratulated Moses Umoru on his emergence as the president of the ASSBIFI BOA Unit.

Comrade Alhassan Danfulani, encouraged all members to give total support to the  executives to move the Association forward in Kaduna state.
