KNSG Re-affirm Commitments  On Physical Local Government Autonomy

Kano State Government has been urged to remain committed on Administrative and physical Autonomy to Local Government councils for overall interest of residents in the state.


This was submitted in a communique presented at the end of a 3 Day workshop on Compensation of Electoral Victory in the effective, knowledge based service delivery at the grassroots which was organized by Kano state governments in kaduna.
The workshop which was centered around Significance of Due Process in Local Government Administration, had in attendance members of academia top funtionaries from the state ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, law maker among others.


The communique drafting committee Chairman, Suleiman Isyaku Dakata while making a presentation stressed the need for the stakeholders to speedy the process for local government areas to have their full autonomy.
The committee also recommended for continues capacity building programmes of the staff members at various levels to achieve optimum performance.
The need for effective and adequate working facilities have equally been reiterated.
