The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) has advised residents of the Agric Quarters community, located near the Air Force Base in Mando, to ensure they obtain proper building permits from the Authority.

The Director-General of KASUPDA, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, Ph.D., gave this directive during an inspection visit to the area, as well as to other development sites within Kaduna metropolis.

He explained that the issues which previously delayed the granting of planning approvals within the Agric Quarters community have been fully resolved. Consequently, property owners are encouraged to submit their as-built drawings for approval, while those currently constructing or intending to develop within the area are urged to forward their applications for building permits without delay.

In this regard, the Director-General also informed the community of the need for an engagement meeting with their leaders. He assured that a formal invitation letter will be communicated in due course.

The inspection team, led by the Director-General, also visited several complaint sites, including Alkalawa Road and Kurfi Close in Kinkinau, a flooding concern at Kagoro by Express, and issues along Asama’u Makarfi Road, Daura Road, and Dan’mani Layout in the Dan’mani area. Additionally, the team inspected developments within Agric Quarters Layout and a complaint at SMC Quarters, Ungwan Dosa.
