Terms International Magazine has held its 15th Annual Lecture in 2025, focusing on the theme “The Significance of Good Governance and National Stability in Nigeria.” The event brought together stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to discuss leadership, accountability, and nation-building in the country.
The lecture, organized by the publisher of the magazine, Jafaru Yakubu Maitama, was aimed at deepening national discourse on responsible governance and the role of leadership in sustaining peace and development.

Delivering the keynote address, the Guest Speaker, Alhaji Tajudeen Ajibade, said good governance remains the cornerstone of national stability, economic progress, and public trust. He stressed that leaders at all levels must demonstrate integrity, transparency, and inclusiveness to strengthen democratic institutions and promote unity.
Ajibade noted that without accountability and ethical leadership, national development would remain elusive, urging public office holders to put the interest of the people above personal gains.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Integrity and Leadership Award to Hajiya Aisha Wushishi, Administrator of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue, and Kaduna States, in recognition of her exemplary leadership and commitment to ethical service delivery.
Responding to the honour, Hajiya Wushishi expressed appreciation to the organizers, describing the award as a call to sustain integrity and professionalism in public service.
The organizers explained that the annual lecture and award ceremony are part of Terms International Magazine’s continuous efforts to promote good governance, responsible leadership, and national unity in Nigeria.
