President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Uba Sani as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation — a move that underscores the Governor’s growing national profile and impactful leadership in Kaduna State.

The appointment is widely seen as recognition of Governor Sani’s strides in stabilising the state and advancing development across key sectors.

Key Achievements

Security: Through strong collaboration with federal security agencies and community stakeholders, peace has been largely restored in troubled areas such as Birnin Gwari, once severely affected by banditry. The overall security architecture of the state has been strengthened, fostering safer communities.

Infrastructure: The administration has completed 32 road projects, including the 24km Kafanchan road and the 22km Kauru–Kubau road, while initiating 82 additional road projects spanning 785 kilometres — significantly improving connectivity and economic activities.

Healthcare: A 300-bed specialist hospital has been completed, alongside the renovation of 13 general hospitals and the upgrade of 255 Primary Healthcare Centres to Level-2 status, expanding access to quality medical services.

Agriculture: The launch of the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) and the distribution of 400 trucks of fertiliser to 100,000 smallholder farmers have boosted agricultural productivity and rural livelihoods.

Workers’ Welfare: The implementation of CONHESS and CONMESS salary structures for health workers has enhanced morale, productivity, and service delivery.

Education: Tuition fees in state-owned tertiary institutions have been reduced by 40 percent, over 600 classrooms have been constructed, and vocational training centres established to equip youths with practical skills.

A Broader National Role

As Renewed Hope Ambassador, Governor Uba Sani is expected to work closely with party leadership to deepen grassroots engagement and promote President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. His new role will focus on fostering unity, strengthening mobilisation structures, and ensuring strategic coordination nationwide.
