Kaduna Govt Allocates Land to Displaced Malali Residents — KADGIS DG

In response to the out cries and wailings of some residents of malali low cost whose properties were demolished and certificates of ownership revoked in 2017,by the past administration of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai,the present Governor Senator Uba Sani had promised to compensate those affected by the wicked act.

Former Governor El-rufai had said that the properties would be resold to investors and owners compensate but that did not happen.

Governor Uba Sani had promised to work into their plight and frade out ways to allocate the sufferings of the affected residents.

The Director General of Kaduna Geographic information (KADGIS)Dr.Bashir Garba Ibrahim in an interview with newsmen announce that the administration of Uba Sani has commenced issuance of land to the affected residents.

According to him,The affected people have been compensated with lands allocated to them at strategic places unlike their of El-Rufai which was located in Rigasa (the land were less than 300 thousand Naira Each).

“This administration believe that the act was wicked,unlawful and barbaric,hence our kind hearted governors decision to allocate these kind of strategic places”.

The DG added that the government will help these people build their houses are those whose certificate were revoked will get the papers back.”As you know some of them have died,some are still in trauma while others are in the hospitals because of El-Rufai ungodly attitude”.

We are going to ask KASUPDA To hasten approval of their building plans to enable them build properties quickly.

Ibrahim stated that these strategic places are where people are already residing.

In their response to the Governor’s gesture,Mahmoud musa chairman Former Malali Lowcost Resident Association thanked the Governor Uba Sani for fulfilling his promises,and prayed that he lead the state to greater heights.

“We will support Governor Sani For his Response To our Cries And Continue to pray for his success”,he said supporting the voice of residents ,Fatima Aboki another Former resident of malali lowcost phase2 thanked the Governor for saving their lives and making their Dream of owing landed properties possible(Dream Come True).

It would be recalled that Former Governor Nasiru Elrufai had forcefully with out due process ordered the demolition and revocation of certificate of occupancy to some residents of malali low cost at the tail end of his administration.
