Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Giwa Local Government Areas of Kaduna State have reaffirmed their loyalty and support for the Kaduna Central Senatorial aspirant, Hon. Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani.
The declaration was made during a stakeholders’ meeting attended by party leaders and supporters, held at the Government Girls Secondary School in Giwa. Participants at the gathering expressed confidence in Zailani’s candidacy, describing him as a capable and experienced politician who has contributed significantly to both the party and the wider community.

Addressing the gathering APC Chairman in Giwa Local Government, Danladi Hudu, assured that party members in the area would mobilize fully to ensure Zailani’s success. He emphasized that the party would do everything necessary to deliver victory for the aspirant in both the primaries and the general election.

“We are fully committed to supporting Zailani. He has earned our trust through his contributions and leadership, and we will stand by him throughout this process,” Hudu said.
In his remarks, the member representing Igabi East Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Salisu Bala Baban Halima, noted that the 2027 elections would be highly competitive and require careful strategy and unity among party members.
“This election comes with many challenges, and it demands deep thinking and proper coordination. If it turns into a direct contest, I am confident Zailani will emerge victorious with a wide margin,” he stated.
Baban Halima also highlighted the importance of unity among the people of Giwa, Igabi, and Birnin Gwari, stressing their shared ties and collective strength in determining political outcomes in the region.
Other stakeholders who spoke at the meeting echoed similar sentiments, unanimously endorsing Zailani as their preferred candidate. They maintained that his track record and long-standing service—spanning nearly two decades—make him the most suitable choice for the senatorial seat.
The meeting concluded with a call on party members and the general public in Giwa and surrounding areas to come out en masse during the APC primaries and the 2027 general elections to support Zailani’s ambition.
The event underscored growing grassroots support for Zailani as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 elections
