A former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf I. Zailani, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest the Kaduna Central Senatorial seat.

Zailani’s move signals his formal entry into the race ahead of the forthcoming elections, positioning himself as a key contender for the party’s ticket in the district.

Sources close to the aspirant said the decision followed wide consultations with party stakeholders and supporters across the senatorial zone.

He is expected to intensify consultations and grassroots engagement in the coming weeks as the APC prepares for its primaries.
