A Kaduna-based contractor, Engr. Sadiq Abubakar, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, urging them to dedicate the sacred period to prayers, reflection, and acts of charity.
Engr. Abubakar, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FARMTRAC Nigeria Ltd, made this known in a statement issued to journalists in Kaduna.
He described Ramadan as a special season of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and compassion, calling on Muslims to use the opportunity to seek Allah’s forgiveness and pray for peace, unity, and progress in Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
The contractor also commended the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, for his leadership and efforts in promoting peace, security, and development across the state.
According to him, the improved security situation in many parts of Kaduna has enabled residents to observe Ramadan with greater peace and freedom.
Engr. Abubakar further encouraged the Muslim Ummah to extend love and support to the less privileged during the fasting period, stressing that Ramadan is not only about abstaining from food and drink but also about strengthening bonds of brotherhood and service to humanity.
He prayed that Allah grants all Muslims the strength and good health to complete the fasting period and accept their acts of worship.
